Goodwill's Vocational Services Programs include employment assessment, remedial education, job training, job coaching, career placement, and supported employment for individuals with various barriers to employment, including disability, welfare-dependency, homelessness, and illiteracy. Graduates emerge as skilled, reliable workers and are hired by businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.

Goodwill's Vocational Services programs serve people with disabilities, people who receive TANF, people who are or have been homeless, and those with literacy issues. Individuals are provided with an opportunity to acquire job skills and engage in gainful employment.

Goodwill also offers a Computer Skills Training Program for Banking, Customer Service, and Call Centers. This program provides employment training and educational advancement opportunities for the Dallas Housing Authority's Section 8 housing recipients, TANF recipients, and those referred by the Workforce Centers. Our vocational trainers teach the participants basic computer and customer service skills needed to get entry-level positions in the community.
